For the diary: Commercial Surrogacy and Women's Rights

Wed Oct 08 2014

On Wednesday, 5 November 2014 at 12.00-2.00pm the Womens Legal Services NSW Foundation will host a forum on "Commercial Surrogacy and Women's Rights". It will take place in the offices of Gilbert and Tobin, 2 Park Street, Sydney.

The Baby Gammy case has shone light on the issue of surrogacy in Australia. Should commercial surrogacy be legalised in Australia? Can exploitation of vulnerable women be addressed through regulation?

Information about the forum and registration can be obtained here.
