BOCSAR asks: Why is the NSW prison population still growing?

The NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research has released its Crime and Justice Statistics Bureau Brief for January 2016, which found a disturbing increase in the prison population, particularly since November 2014, during which time it increased by 1,421 prisoners in just ten months.
