The World’s Greatest Shave

Thu Feb 25 2016

This March, Jeff Rose of Level 22 Chambers will be taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.

Each day 34 Australians are given the devastating news that they have leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma, and they’ll turn to the Leukaemia Foundation for help. Although survival rates are improving, blood cancers are the third biggest cause of cancer death in Australia.

The Leukaemia Foundation receives no ongoing government funding, so supporting this event makes the Foundation’s work possible.

Jeff asks the members of the Bar to support the Foundation and sponsor him. Donation will go towards blood cancer research which is needed urgently to find better treatments and cures, as well as supporting families with practical and emotional support during their long and gruelling treatment, free of charge. $28 can provide a cancer information pack to help a family prepare for the challenges ahead. $120 can fund a research scholarship for a day to support a major blood cancer project.

Visit Jeff’s shave page and donate at least $28 to this great cause.
