Bench and Bar v Solicitors Chess Tournament

The 22 annual Bench and Bar v Solicitors chess match took place on 21 boards on Thursday, 19 November 2015. While the solicitors had a narrow win this year, the overall score for the Terrey Shaw Memorial shield stands at Bench and Bar 10, Solicitors 9, ties 3. Barristers Kim Anderson and Charles Alexander shared the Terrey Shaw prize for best played games. Terrey Shaw died at the age of 50 while at the bar. An Australian champion, he represented Australia in nine Chess Olympics winning silver and bronze medals.
