Women in Leadership forum

Layne Beachley's Aim For the Stars Foundation provides grants to girls and women in all fields of endeavour. Justice Kunc of the NSW Supreme Court is the chairman. On 20 November the foundation is holding its inaugural "Women in Leadership" forum at the Shangri-La Hotel. The Hon Julia Gillard is giving the keynote address, and other speakers include Dr Cathy Foley (Dep Director CSIRO), Louise Herron (CEO Sydney Opera House), Holly Ransom (CEO Emergent Solutions) and Cindy Hook (CEO Deloitte Australia). The WBF encourages members of the Bar Association to attend the forum. The forum is intended to raise funds to enable the foundation to double its annual scholarship spend - last year it was about $80,000. Learn more here.
