For the diary: ALRC symposium on "Proportionality and the Constitution"

As part of its Freedoms Inquiry, the Australian Law Reform Commission will hold a symposium on Thursday, 8 October 2015 between 5.30pm and 7.00pm in Courtroom 1 of the Federal Court, Queens Square, Sydney. The topic will be "Proportionality and the Constitution" and the speakers will be: Professor Rosalind Croucher AM, ALRC president and commissioner for the inquiry; Professor Denise Meyerson, Macquarie Law School, Professor Anne Twomey, Sydney Law School, Michael Sexton SC, NSW solicitor-general.
