JIRS statistics announcement

Tue Sep 10 2019

The Judicial Commission maintains the Judicial Information Research System (JIRS), a resource used by judicial officers and the profession in relation to the criminal law which includes sentencing statistics. In September 2018, large scale sentencing reforms came into effect in NSW and the JIRS statistics now include statistics post these sentencing reforms.

The enhanced statistics viewer on JIRS with post-sentencing reform penalties for the Local, District and Supreme Courts is now available. Find out more here.
