Forbes Society - Tutorial in Australian Legal History

We remind you of our tutorial in Australian Legal History – today, in Court 13A at 5.15 pm: Professor Mark Lunney (Junior Vice President of the Society), Dr Tanya Josev (Senior Lecturer, University of Melbourne Law School) and Dr Susan Bartie (Lecturer, University of Tasmania Faculty of Law), on Legalism in the twentieth century: the chameleon concept.

This will be followed on 18 September 2019 by the Chief Justice, the Hon T F Bathurst AC, on the History of the legal profession in NSW.

Lecture - We are also pleased to announce a lecture co-sponsored by the Forbes Society and the Selden Society, to be given by the Hon John Bryson QC titled “Henry VIII’s Will and the Politics of Succession”. The lecture is on Wednesday 6 November 2019 at 5:15pm in Banco Court.

The lecture will be introduced by Justice Lucy McCallum of the NSW Court of Appeal. We are grateful to the Chief Justice for making Banco Court available for the lecture.
