Bar FC wins semi final on penalties

Today Bar FC progressed to the trophy stage of the Domain Soccer League winning a penalty shoot-out.

Full time saw the scores even 1-1 after a wonderful team goal saw Di Michiel tap in the equaliser. Notwithstanding a number of chances, the deadlock could not be broken during extra time.

Harris was superb in goals and managed to save the third penalty to give Bar FC the edge. The next penalty from our opponents hit the woodwork and Harris was heard to exclaim, “finish it” as he wheeled away from goal. Hayden Doria from the Bar Association stepped up to the spot and fired us into the grand final.
