On 25 July the Australian & New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law (NSW Committee) will host an evening discussion on: "First responders and the consequences of exposure to trauma-what can be done in response and does it work?"

Discussions will cover areas such as techniques designed to collect and preserve eyewitness evidence in the immediate aftermath of an incident, what (if anything) employers can do to protect the mental health of their workforce and relevance to civil litigation, stress and obstacles faced by first responders in the litigation process, in particular Police officers.

The event will take place at the SMC Conference & Function Centre, 66 Goulburn Street at 6.30pm. Register here.
