President appoints Robert Dubler SC as NSW Bar Advocate for Change

Wed Jun 19 2019

On 17 June 2019, the President appointed Robert Dubler SC as a NSW Bar Advocate for Change for a period of three years.

The purpose of the Advocates for Change program is to provide role models who are outstanding practitioners and who, through the example of what they do and say in their professional lives as barristers, represent the full width of diversity and inclusion that the NSW Bar Association wishes to promote at the Bar.

It is hoped that Robert’s appointment as Advocate for Change will raise awareness, encourage greater access and inclusion at the NSW Bar for members of the Bar, legal profession and community for persons living with disability.

As an Advocate for Change, Robert has agreed to participate in the formulation of strategies to promote equality, diversity and inclusion at the NSW Bar, particularly considering measures to improve access and facilities and increase awareness about the experience for barristers with disability.

He joins Advocates for Change, Jane Needham SC, Hament Dhanji SC and Andrew Pickles SC.
