New test for Financially Associated Persons (Means Test)

Legal Aid NSW has implemented a new test for Financially Associated Persons (Means Test). The change applies to applications for legal aid determined on or after 13 May 2019. See Policy Bulletin 2019/7 – (Means Test – Financially Associated Person) for more information.

There is an online training module available for 0.5 CPD points. To access the module, log into Learning Management System and search for "Financially Associated Person Test". Additional resources including tip sheets and FAQs can be found on the Eligibility Policy Resources page on the Legal Aid NSW website.
