Sentencing of repeat traffic offenders

The NSW Attorney General has asked for a review of the sentencing of repeat traffic offenders who may pose an ongoing risk to the community.

Having received preliminary submissions, the Department of Justice has now produced a consultation paper to seek further input on the issue.

The consultation paper is available on their website, click here, together with information about how to respond to the questions and make a submission to the Sentencing Council.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, 22 March 2019
