A great new benefits program for members

Thu Aug 09 2018
Message from President Arthur Moses SC

The Bar Association has partnered with Member Advantage, a leading provider of member benefits programs. Members and their families can now enjoy exclusive discounts on an expanded range of benefits: package tours, corporate rates on airline lounge memberships, car rentals, a car buying service, travel insurance, fine dining, pre-purchased gift cards, movie tickets, computers and more.

How do I login?

Access your benefits via the New South Wales Bar Association Member Dashboard. Members can login here using their normal Bar Association / CPD streaming login. Once your login is accepted, you will notice that the top right of the home page will read Welcome [Name]. Click on that line to proceed to the dashboard.

Forgotten your password?

If you have forgotten you login/password, click on Unknown password or username? and answer the questions. The Bar Association will respond as soon as possible.

Not a member?

Should you wish to apply to become a member of the Bar Association, please complete an application form.

The next step

Once at your Member Dashboard select the Member Advantage tab. This will navigate you to the co-branded Member Advantage site. Operators can provide help via their online chat function.

Assisting barristers

The member benefits program fulfils at least two objectives under the New South Wales Bar Association Strategic Plan 2017-2020, including:

  • To provide members of the New South Wales Bar Association with services to assist them in the operation of their practices and enable them to maintain links with the Bar Association once they have ceased to practise.

  • To promote to members the advantages and benefits of a balanced lifestyle, appropriate stress management, and improved physical fitness.

I have noted, via InBrief and Bar News, that practising at the Bar is unquestionable stressful and that members need to be mindful of their health and wellbeing. I believe this program will, over time, be of considerable benefit to members of this association.
