Work-life balance of English criminal barristers is deteriorating

Wellbeing
The Bar Council of England and Wales has published a new report, titled Barristers' Working Lives 2017. Some of the findings are grim and reflect the data collected by the New South Wales Bar Association in its own Quality of Working Life survey. As a result of constant cuts to Legal Aid, more than one-third of criminal barristers are "considering their career options".
