An invitation to the women of the NSW Bar

Fri Mar 21 2014
Diversity

Women barristers are warmly invited to a forum, to be held on Saturday, 5 April 2014 between 9.00am and 1.30pm in the Bar Common Room. Come and discuss ways we can continue to advance women's career and life at the bar. For inspiration, Justice Melissa Perry of the Federal Court and formerly of the New South Wales Bar, will start the day with a talk on "Women at the Bar: Aspirations and Inspirations". We will then discuss what matters to women barristers and whether the Women Barristers Forum should remain a section or become a committee of the New South Wales Bar Association.

Survey

Women at the bar are invited to complete a short online survey regarding their specific issues of concern. The results of the survey will be used as a basis for the discussion at the Forum on 5 April 2014. It should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete, and is anonymous. To complete the survey, please click on the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GKRJBS5
