New Exhibition by Tamara Dean
Thu Mar 06 2014Tamara Dean, who judged the 2013 Indigenous Barristers Trust Photo competition, is proud to announce her forthcoming exhibition at Olsen Irwin Gallery, 63 Jersey Road, Wollahra on 5-23 March 2014. 'The Edge', her new body of work is an exploration of the informal rites of passage created by young people in relationship with the natural world. The initiations, the pushing of physical, spiritual and emotional limits in order to discover one's sense of self.
In 2013 Tamara Dean won the 'New York Photo Awards' in the fine art category and was awarded the Art Omi International Artists Residency in New York. Tamara's work has also been exhibited and featured in 4 Stories, an exhibition curated by Anna Maria Antoinette D' Addario in Darling Quarter, Darling Harbour as part of the 2013 Reportage Festival opening.
