Reminder - Farewell ceremonies for Justice Gummow

The Hon Justice Gummow will be farewelled at 10am on Wednesday, 3 October 2012, in Courtroom One at the High Court in Canberra. �This will be a short sitting (around 10 minutes) in which the chief justice will say a few words. �All of the justices will sit. Justice Gummow will sit for the final time on Friday, 5 October 2012, in Sydney at 9:15 am. �This is immediately preceding the special leave list - which is due to commence at 9:30 am. �The location is Level 23, Law Courts Building, Queens Square, Sydney. President Bernard Coles QC will speak on behalf of the New South Wales Bar.
