The PILCH Offshore Asylum Seeker Project training sessions

The PILCH NSW Offshore Asylum Seeker Project will assist individuals in immigration detention throughout Australia who have been refused refugee status and have the right to judicial review. Part of this project, will be to match individuals with legal representation through the creation of a clearinghouse. In order to assist barristers and solicitors interested in taking on these matters, PILCH NSW has arranged for a series of trainings run by some of the top experts in the field which will cover the background issues, current law and future direction of judicial review in immigration matters.� There will also be a presentation by Legal Aid Grants department to describe the funding options available for these matters. **Attendees get 1.5 CPD points for attending each seminar. **Please RSVP your attendance to Anna Roberts at: clearinghouse9@pilchnsw.org.au If you have any queries please call Anna on (02) 9114 1825
