NSW Government to legislate for permanent injecting room

The Premier has announced that� the NSW Government will remove the 'trial status' of the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre and formalise the facility. Legislation to be introduced during the current Parliamentary session will ensure continued stringent monitoring of the Centre and that it will remain the only legalised injecting centre in the State.
