Philanthropy

One of the many examples of philanthropy at the New South Wales Bar will be recognised tomorrow night on the ABCTV current affairs programme, Foreign Correspondent. In 2005, 2006 and 2009 the newly-appointed silks gave generously to the indigo foundation, which runs the Bonobo Health Clinic in the Democratic Republic of Congo's remote and impoverished region of Kokolopori. Members wishing to make a donation to the indigo foundation may do so via a secure web site, supported by Westpac. 13 September 2010
