Historic architectural drawings for Denman Chambers

Acting Justice Bryson and Mr Malcolm Levy, project director in the Department of Justice and Attorney General have graciously allowed the Bar Association to display architectural drawings and specifications for the construction of Denman Chambers, occupied as Barristers' Chambers in Phillip Street from the 1880s until demolished in the 1970s.� These architectural drawings and specifications - covering the period 1881-1883 - are available for viewing during September and early October at Bar Association premises. Afterwards, the Mitchell Library will assume responsibility for their ongoing conservation.
