Expansion of legal aid services

The Attorney General, the Hon John Hatzistergos MLC, has announced the availablity of additional legal aid services in New South Wales as a result of an increase of over $10 million in legal aid funding. The additional funding will enable the Legal Aid Commission to deliver more preventative legal services, to expand Family Dispute Resolution Services and expand its legal assistance programme for families experiencing mortgage stress, according to the Attorney General's press release.
