The President and the Bar Council have the pleasure of inviting all members of The New South Wales Bar Association and their guests to a Fundraising Dinner for the Martin Place homeless. The dinner is to take place on Thursday, 19 August 2010 in the Strangers’ Dining Room at NSW Parliament House. The dinner commences at 6.00pm.

For 364 nights per year, volunteers provide an evening meal in Martin Place and the surrounding areas for approximately 175 people. Many of these groups are under-funded and are often not able to provide nutritious meals. The aim of this dinner is to raise sufficient funds to provide these 175 homeless people with a nutritious meal every night for one year. A voluntary tax deductible donation of $100, included with your payment for the dinner, will ensure this can happen.

The cost for the dinner is $135 per person (GST inclusive) as well as the voluntary tax deductible donation of $100, included with your payment for the dinner to ensure 175 homeless men and women are fed a nutritious meal every night for one year. Please note: All payments should be made to The New South Wales Bar Association. The donation payments will be held in trust by The New South Wales Bar Association and donated to the St Vincent de Paul Society at the conclusion of the dinner. Following the evening receipts will be provided by St Vincent de Paul. To secure your place, download a registration form. Tables of 10 people per table can be accepted and smaller bookings are also welcome. The RSVP is Friday, 12 August 2010. 15 July 2010
