Wednesday 23 June - Lunchtime Seminar: Constitutional Guarantees and Natural Resources

This seminar will involve an analysis of recent High Court decisions involving water rights and the trend of cases involving allegations of acquisitions of property on other than just terms (in particular in relation to “acquisitions” of statutory rights to natural resources). The seminar will also consider the High Court's recent comments about the constitutional right to the reasonable use of the waters of rivers. Please note that this seminar will take place from 12.45 - 1.45pm in the Bar Association Common Room. For further details, download a flyer.
