Improving juror understonding of DNA evidence

The Australian Institute of Criminology has published a report, which shows that more can be done to improve juror understanding of DNA evidence. Enhancing Fairness in DNA Jury Trials (AIC Trends & Issues in Crime and Criminal Justice Paper 392) suggests that enhancing the DNA knowledge of jurors leads to better decision-making and more secure verdicts.
