Jeffrey Rose, from Eight Wentworth Chambers, is taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave this Friday, 17 March. Jeff will be shaving his hair in support of the Leukaemia Foundation, to help beat blood cancer.

Blood cancer, including leukaemia and lymphoma, is the third biggest cause of cancer death in Australia. Jeff asks the members of the New South Wales Bar to support the Foundation, and to sponsor him in the shave. It’s a great way to help people with blood cancer.

Donation go towards blood cancer research which is needed urgently to find better treatments and cures, as well as supporting families with practical and emotional support during their long and gruelling treatment, free of charge. Just $52 will ensure someone being treated in hospital gets a personal visit from a highly-trained health professional so they get the extra support they need. $120 can fund a research scholarship for a day to support a major blood cancer project.

Members can click here to visit Jeff’s page at the Leukaemia Foundation website, and sponsor him in this great cause:

The Leukaemia Foundation receives no ongoing government funding, so supporting this event makes the Foundation’s work possible.
