Secondments in New Guinea

The Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department is currently recruiting for two senior prosecution advisers for positions on secondment in the Papua New Guinea (PNG) Office of the Public Prosecutor (OPP).

These positions attract considerable additional allowances on top of salary, as well as housing, a vehicle, school fees and a range of other entitlements commensurate with living in Port Moresby.

These vacancies are non-ongoing or secondment positions with the Attorney-General’s Department for deployment to PNG, for an initial duration of minimum 18 months and possible extension up to a total of three years. The projected start date for both positions is mid-2017.
