Are your cases traumatising you? Understanding and managing vicarious trauma

Tue Feb 28 2017

Improve Work Performance & Health: Recognising and dealing with the effects of the work that we are often required to undertake is a critical part of ensuring that we as barristers are able to perform at our best. On 7 March 2017 at 5.00pm a seminar will address the effects of dealing with cases involving terrible crimes, significant injuries, bitter family disputes that often mean that barristers suffer from the vicarious trauma of those events. Robyn Bradey, who has worked extensively in this area (and particularly with lawyers) will be returning (due to popular demand) to address "Are your cases traumatising you? Understanding and managing vicarious trauma" .
