For the diary: “The law and lawyers: their limits?”

Mon Feb 20 2017
Tuesday, 4 April 2017, 5.30–7.00pm

The Australian Academy of Law extends a warm invitation to attend the first in a series of three ethics-themed events that it is holding in Sydney this year. The first will be a "hypothetical" which will pose questions concerning "The law and lawyers: their limits?" It will take place Ceremonial Court of the Federal Court of Australia, Level 21, Law Courts Building, Queen’s Square on Tuesday, 4 April 2017, 5.30–7.00pm. A stellar panel will be moderated by John Sheahan QC.

The theme of the events is based on the objects of the Academy — to promote the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional responsibility, to enhance understanding and observance of the rule of law, and to provide a forum for debate and the interchange of views.
