The Cross-examination Seminar and Workshop is organised year by the New Barristers Committee and is aimed at encouraging junior barristers to practice their cross-examination skills and to also watch a demonstration by senior practitioners.

The seminar will be held on 27 February 2017. The seminar will discuss cross-examination technique. The speakers, who will be senior counsel, will provide guidance on cross-examination in an open and relaxed forum, with questions from the floor.

The workshop will be held on 27 March 2017 and is aimed at encouraging new barristers to practice their cross-examination skills on each other before attending the demonstration to watch senior members of the profession cross-examine and discuss their approach.
