NSWLRC report on third party insurance claims
Mon Dec 19 2016Attorney General Gabrielle Upton has today released NSW Law Reform Commission Report 143; Third Party Claims on Insurance Money: Review of s 6 of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1946. The commission recommends omitting Part 4 of the Act and replacing it to allow directors and officers to have their legal costs covered under an insurance policy.
