Are your cases traumatising you? Understanding and managing vicarious trauma

Tonight, Wednesday 9 November, Robyn Bradey, an accredited mental health social worker with over 36 years’ experience, will present a seminar on “Vicarious Trauma”. The seminar will deal with the manner in which we, as barristers, are exposed to trauma (crime, accidents, physical injuries, family crises and personal loss) through the cases that we do and how we can manage the ramifications of it. Mental wellbeing and resilience in this area is a priority that we need to address. Chaired by Peter McGrath SC, Health and Wellbeing Committee. For full details please download a flyer here

The seminar will be held at 5.15pm in the Bar Association Common room
