Inaugural William Lee Address hosted by Asian Australian Lawyers Association

The Asian Australian Lawyers Association, NSW branch (AALA) is excited to invite you to attend a panel Q&A session followed by networking drinks for the inaugural William Lee Address on Monday, 2 May 2016, 6.30pm-8.30pm, at Clayton Utz Boardroom, Level 14, 1 Bligh St, Sydney. The panelists will be: the Honourable Justice Jayne Jagot, Judge of the Federal Court of Australia; Dr Tim Soutphommasane, Race Discrimination Commissioner of the Australian Human Rights Commission; Mr Tony McAvoy SC, Barrister and the first Indigenous Australian to be appointed Senior Counsel in Australia; and Ms Sam Mostyn, Deputy Chair of the Diversity Council of Australia Board; former AFL Commissioner and company director. The moderator will be Theresa Baw, barrister and AALA committee member. The address aims to provide a forum to explore the challenges in promoting Asian cultural diversity within the legal profession. To register for the event, please click here.
