Election of 2018 Bar Council

Nominations for the 2018 Bar Council closed at 4.00pm yesterday. Nominations have been received from 22 Senior Counsel and 46 members of the Junior Bar (including 12 under 5s). An acknowledgment of the Returning Officer’s receipt of the nomination has been, or will be, sent to each candidate.

If any candidate has not received an acknowledgment by 9am on Wednesday, 11 October 2017, they should immediately contact Michelle Nisbet at the Bar Association on ph 9232 4055 or email mnisbet@nswbar.asn.au.

Ballot papers will be posted on Friday, 13 October 2017 when the ballot opens.
