City2Surf - Paul Daley OAM raising funds for Sydney Children's Hospital

Tue Aug 08 2017
Philanthropy

On 13 August 2017 Paul Daley, former clerk and life member of the Bar Association, will be running in his 47th City2Surf. Paul is one of only twenty men to have raced in Sydney’s premier fun run every year since it began in 1971.

This year Paul is aiming to raise $25,000 to purchase equipment for the Sydney Children’s Hospital, including a specialised stroller that allows severely injured young children to move safely around the hospital, and an ambulatory EEG machine to help doctors make more informed assessments of young epilepsy patients.

Paul has been inspired by the courage and endurance of the chronically ill children at Sydney Children’s Hospital, and dedicates his own 14km ordeal to them. If you would like to donate and support Paul and the Sydney Children’s Hospital, please visit his fundraising page.
