In London, delegates can stay at The Rosewood – a true urban sanctuary that is among the best in London. This five-star Edwardian Grade II-listed building has been sensitively renovated to create a luxury hotel with the ambience of a stylish London residence. The Rosewood will also host the conference welcome drinks.

Highlights of the London conference program include opening remarks from the Right Honourable Lord Neuberger, President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, Andrew Langdon QC, Chairman of the Bar of England and Wales, and His Excellency, the Honourable Alexander Downer AC, Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. Following this the Honourable Justice Keane AC, High Court of Australia, will deliver the keynote address, and delegates will hear from a panel of experts including the Right Honourable Jeremy Wright QC MP, Attorney General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland on ‘Implications of Brexit’. A Specialist Tax Stream will also be available for members of the Tax Bar.

In Dublin, delegates can stay at The Westbury – an icon in a city of greats, while taking part in a conference that will present issues and debates that will shape future innovations and directions of the Bar. Hear from high profile speakers on a range of topics from corporate mega-litigation, the art of advocacy, the relevance and future of the Independent Bar to technological developments and how we generate a diverse and inclusive profession for a global market. Delegates will also have the opportunity to participate in a exciting line-up of social activities including a tour of the Irish Bar and Courts, the Conference Gala Dinner, and the Bellewstown July Racing Festical Twilight Meeting.

Stay at the Westbury which occupies a prime position between Trinity College and St Stephen’s Green; perfectly located for exploring the most exciting sides of Dublin.
