NSW Government makes up some of Commonwealth funding shortfall

NSW Attorney General Mark Speakman SC has announced an injection of $6 million in additional support for community legal centres (CLCs) over the next two years. From 1 July 2017, the Commonwealth Government is reducing funding to community legal centres by 30 per cent. In NSW federal funding will fall by 23 per cent, or around $2.9m.
