Opportunity for Educational Advancement

The NSW Bar Association’s Education Committee and New Barristers’ Committee are seeking volunteers to assist in the review and update of the Bar Practice Course reading materials. This joint initiative aims to offer junior barristers the opportunity to get involved in the education of their peers, connect with senior practitioners and further their own knowledge and practice.

All Barristers with a reasonable amount of experience are encouraged to complete the expression of interest form. The review considers many jurisdictions and practice areas. Ideal candidates will:

  • Have 3-7-years’ experience as a full-time practising New South Wales barrister in any jurisdiction.
  • A demonstrated interest in legal education and the advancement of the NSW Bar Association’s education program.
  • Have the capacity to complete the task to which they are assigned by Thursday 7 February 2020.
