CPD seminar on asbestos & asbestos litigation

The president of the Dust Diseases Tribunal will present a CPD seminar on 'Asbestos & Asbestos Litigation', next Wednesday, 22 November 2006.

His Honour Judge JL O'Meally AM RFD is the president of the Dust Diseases Tribunal. The tribunal has exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine claims for damages for negligence and breach of statutory duty in relation to death or personal injury caused by exposure to dust.

His Honour's presentation will cover topics pertinent to both the practice and procedure in the Tribunal, as well as to asbestos litigation more generally. His Honour will also refer to important cases affecting the jurisdiction of the tribunal.
