Bar FC victorious over Sydney Business School

The season first appearance by Captain Simon Philips saw a return to the Bar’s winning ways today with a well earned 1-0 win over the South American laden Sydney Business School. Under Phillip’s steady hand, d’Arville, Griscti, Fredericks and Munro all played well to fend off the midfield attacks on goal. When lucky enough to get away a shot, Goalkeeper Harris continued his great run of form with an excellent save from close range.

A warm welcome to debutante Stephen Dametto who slotted comfortably into the midfield and later up front.

The goal came from a great free kick taken by Anthony Canceri. Hit with venom, a slight touch from a defenders head saw the goalkeeper beaten and the back of the net bulge.

Next week sees Bar FC (now in third position) take on the leaders Pendal FC at 1.15 pm on 1 August 2019 on top of the Domain Car Park. Come and join us as we continue our preparation for the final series.
