Mentors wanted for the Indigenous Law Students Mentoring Program: Parramatta or Sydney

Fri May 23 2014

Have you been at the bar between three and seven years and looking for a new challenge that provides an important opportunity to assist Indigenous law students on their way through law school?

The Indigenous Barristers Trust is now seeking mentors for its Indigenous Law Students Mentoring Program. We are specifically looking for several barristers practising in Parramatta and in Sydney.

The program provides barristers with the opportunity to share their professional expertise and life experiences with New South Wales Indigenous law students.

It is hoped the experience will provide guidance to the students and encourage them to one day consider the NSW Bar as a realistic and interesting career choice.

If you are interested in making a difference and becoming a mentor, please complete a registration form and send it to Wendy Incoll at wincoll@nswbar.asn.au or call (02) 9229-1710 for more information. Those who express interest will receive further information about the program.
