Save the date: 2015 ABA Conference - Boston
Tue Jan 27 2015The Australian Bar Association is pleased to confirm that its 2015 conference will be held in Boston, Massachusetts, on 7 to 10 July 2015. Boston’s reputation as a world leading centre for legal education, and its rich history and culture, make it an ideal location for the Australian Bar’s biennial conference.
Conference theme
The theme of the conference will centre on the means by which the Australian Bar can survive and prosper in the twenty-first century. We propose to obtain insight into how the North Americans, and others, have tackled common problems regarding advocacy practice, the use of technology and maintenance of the rule of law at a time when civil and criminal justice systems are under challenge from new political and economic imperatives. The conference programme will include sessions at the Harvard Law School, the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the JFK Presidential Library.
