Proposed Standard Orders for Hearings

The District Court of NSW has published its Proposed Standard Orders for Hearings, regarding medical and expert reports, concurrent evidence, schedules of damages and issues, as well as adjournments.

The Bar Association's Common Law Committee is interested in monitoring the operation of the new orders, particularly in respect of cost and delays in District Court civil matters. Members with comments should contact the deputy executive director, Alastair McConnachie. Learn more
