Appointment to the Land and Environment Court

Acting Justice Timothy Moore has been appointed as a permanent judge of the Land and Environment Court of NSW. He will replace Justice Peter Biscoe, who will retire after 10 years on the bench. Acting Justice Moore will begin serving as a permanent judge of the Land and Environment Court on 4 January 2016. A ceremonial sitting to welcome his Honour will be held in the Banco Court on Tuesday, 2 February 2016. Members will be advised of further details as soon as they are known.
