The Challenge of the Commons

Mon Apr 11 2016

Peter King of the NSW Bar has just written a new book entitled The Challenge of the Commons which proposes a broadened and updated sequel to the Kyoto Protocol under the Climate Change Convention to which Australia is a party. The proposal is less penal upon the world’s farmers including Australia’s farmers who have suffered suicides, family break ups and other hardships under the current regime. The book also critiques Australia’s performance, and suggests new measures under a revised Protocol. Prefaced by Professor Paul Martin of the UNE and a member of the IUCN, the work is 216 pages.
