New body to oversee the NSW Police

The New South Wales Government will create the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (LECC) to replace the Police Integrity Commission (PIC) and the Police Division of the Office of the Ombudsman (PDOO) with a single body to detect and investigating serious misconduct and corruption, and to oversee complaints handling. The changes come in response to recommendations from a review into police oversight by a former shadow attorney general, Andrew Tink AM. Learn more here.
