Registering for childcare? Make sure you tell them you are a Bar Association family

Fri Nov 06 2015

If you would like to register for childcare, and intend to contact Guardian Early Learning directly to do so, it is important that you tell them that you are using the Bar Association’s childcare scheme. If you do not do so, you will be placed on their "community waitlist", which is considerably longer.

If members are allocated "community" places when there are places available in the Bar Association program, that will also result in the association unnecessarily paying the daily rate for that unutilised Bar Association spot.

It is useful for the association to keep a record of families on the waitlist, so that we can cross-check our list with the list held by Guardian. If you are interested in placing your name on the waitlist, please get in touch with Megan Black on 9229 1739 or at mblack@nswbar.asn.au.
