Federal Court – National Court Framework – Practice Note Consultation Process

Wed Nov 18 2015

The Federal Court is in the process of its implementation of the National Court Framework (NCF). A key component of this reform is the review of the court’s practice documents to ensure nationally consistent and simplified practice. After an extensive internal consultation process involving the judges of the court, the draft Central Practice Note and draft National Practice Area (NPA) Practice Notes have been developed.

The Federal Court considers it important to consult with the profession in relation to the operation of these practice notes and is now expanding its public consultation exercise to seek feedback on the new draft NCF practice notes before they are issued. To access the draft practice notes and provide feedback, please go to the Federal Court’s website.
