AG and LCA make last ditch appeals to Indonesian authorities

Attorney General George Brandis QC has written to Indonesian Attorney-General Prasetyo regarding Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, urging the Indonesian Government to stay the executions until Constitutional Court and Judicial Commission inquiries into their trial have been completed. The Law Council of Australia has also called on Indonesian authorities to stay the impending executions to allow both men to give evidence before Indonesia’s Constitutional Court. Learn more here.
